Search Mode

(Premise)PatentPia Search (search.patentpia.com) enables i) full text search of patents, ii) search for events such as transactions/litigations/trials/M&A/investments, and iii) search for patents used in events for each nation. PatentPia GoldenCompass provides a search function centered on analysis contents, which is different from non-exclusive patent search.

There are three main modes of searching in GoldenCompass (GC). i) Quick mode, which provides a simple 1 search term input field, ii) Advanced search mode, which provides multiple search term input fields, and iii) Special mode (coming soon), which leads to search results that meet special purposes/characteristics through various search term input fields.

Quick mode

Enter a search term

• Keywords, technology/product-part/materials-substance/(*)patent classification (CPC, etc.) expressions, company name, person name, law firm name, etc.

Search Operators

• Available operators : Expansion operator. "Enter search term+ *"
• Unavailable operators: Called operators (and, or, not), proximity operators (near), parentheses, etc.
  • Because the purpose of Quick mode is simple input search. We will expand the range of available operators in the future.
